Emissary Development Paddle Shifter Update
Emissary Development Paddle Shifter Update

Let’s start 2023 off with a X300 Paddle Shifter update!

The new and improved X300 Paddle Shifter is going to be entering production and we wanted to show you guys some of the improvements we’ve implemented.

First is the most obvious. We have added a set screw locking feature that gives the paddle shifter a significantly better hold onto the switch armature. This new feature will also makes install easier.

The armature port has also been opened to also aid in a smoother install as well to allow us to provide better quality control when manufacturing them.

Another significant improvement over the previous version is the updated paddle profile. While nearly all holsters are compatible with the older model there were a handful of Safariland holsters that, due to the overhanging material in the holster opening, made it possible to snag the paddle and were therefore not listed as compatible (without modification) on the holster compatibility list. The new profile tucks the edge of the paddle closer to the frame to prevent any snag issues.

While we still will recommend modifying the Safariland holsters as to prevent any wear or unwanted contact with the paddle, we believe this new profile adjustment will have a big difference when it comes to preventing snagging as a whole.

If you have had any previous issues with holster compatibility with your older model we are offering to replace them with this new model. You can always reach out to our support team and we’ll take care of you.

We plan to get these new models into production asap but with Shot Show coming up we may not be able to drop them in January. We’ll keep everyone posted!

Thank you everyone for your patience and support!
